We Have Every Kind of Chocolate!

Third post. I'm getting quite used to this!

As you'll know if you've checked out my profile, two of my main interests are drawing and animation. I sort of like to experiment with different mediums, and the choice of today was: Chocolate!

It was a bit more difficult then I expected it to be. The one to the right is supposed to portray one of my little brothers (I've got two of them) lying on the couch watching TV. You might or might not be able to tell what is what. A clue: his face is the lighter part between the centre and the left edge of the pose and he's wearing glasses.

This one goes by the name "Everyone loves chocolate"!

Not very elegant perhaps.
I don't think chocolate is a medium of the future. But the paintings sure smell lovely!

One of my (not so) secret (after this) dreams is to be able to attend California Institute of the Arts, more often referred to as CalArts!

It seems to be a truly magical place for anyone who wants to learn the art of animation. They're having guest lectures with well-known artists from Disney and Pixar and you're able to create your own student film every year and all the classes seem great and it's in California!

To get in there you have to be able to draw really well, especially life drawings. I've got a looooong way to go before I'm even close to the standards of a CalArts student. But with persistency, hard work and a little bit of luck everything's possible, right? Right!

And hey, everyone's allowed to dream!

Animation is an amazing art form. The finest of them all, I'd say. To give your drawings life and make people feel for them, laugh with them, cry over their fate. That's cool.
Most of my not so many animations are on our non-working hard drive but here are some very small pieces I did for a presentation in school (about Brazil):

The character who's dancing and kicking a football is named Samba, Samba belongs to the growing population of the Bloys. A Bloy is defined by me as a two-eyed living ball with two legs and feet attached to it.
The last one says "Global klass" which is Swedish for "Global class". That is, a class where you learn about global matters, it's great!
Well, time to close the Club for today. G'night!
