Anyway, I didn't do much today. Went to school, tried out a new magic trick which turned out good and in the afternoon I visited a speech therapist!
I can't pronounce the so called "alveolar trill" (rolled r), that is the kind of r made by letting the tip of the tongue vibrate behind the upper teeth. That sound does almost never occur in English but is quite common in Swedish. When I'm speaking I'm using more of the English version of r. I've had this problem (not really a problem, people might not even notice it except on some specific words) since I learned to talk and I had a therapist in pre-school who tried to help me but we didn't succeed. So a couple of weeks ago I decided to give it another try and sent e-mails to every therapist in town. All of them where very nice and helpful and at today's appointment with one of them I got a lot of useful tips and exercises to do. And I will do them!
Other than that nothing much happened today, so I think I'll go to bed now. We've got full moon tonight and it's beautiful! At least to us not afraid of werewolves...
